“Darlings don’t share your OTP.” See Delhi Police ROFL tweet

Dark comedy trailer darlings released on Monday and is trending even a day later. The film, which marks Alia Bhatt’s debut as a film producer, also stars Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew in key roles. The film follows the story of a mother-daughter duo who want to teach Vijay Varma (who plays Alia Bhatt’s husband in the film) a lesson. In order to keep up with trends, the official Delhi Police Force Twitter handle decided to use a still from the film to deliver an important message. “darlings Don’t share your OTP,” read the tweet, which was accompanied by a film still of Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah. “Conscious and vigilant citizens when asked to share their OTP,” the tweet’s caption reads. During the film’s trailer launch on Monday in Mumbai, Alia Bhatt revealed how her co-producer and Dear Zindagi Reacting to the film, co-star Shah Rukh Khan told PTI news agency: “He said we’re going to have a lot of fun and enjoy making the film darlings Style, he said: Thank you darlings for making these films.”

darlings marks the directorial debut of author Jasmeet K Reen and also stars Alia manhole boy co-star Vijay Varma. The film was co-produced by Alia Bhatt’s production house called Eternal Sunshine Productions and Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. SRK and Alia starred in the film Dear Zindagi. The film will be released on OTT platform Netflix on August 5th.
