The incident occurred on January 20, and Twitter apparently had a field day for it.

Instagram user @qualityteaposts shared the original post which read: “Prince Harry reveals the musical artist he listened to in his lowest moments in the new book ‘Spare.’ In times when I felt alone and separated from my family, I always used to make time for myself and listen to Daler Mehndi.Her songs resonated with me and helped me a lot.This post has over 36,000 likes so far.The post was captioned as “Any party is incomplete without your song.” Daler Mehndi did not realize that it was fake content and shared the screenshot on his Twitter account and wrote, “I am grateful with the blessings of Guru Nanak, my mom and dad, I created a unique style of ethnic pop music. folkloric. I love you Prince Harry! God bless you, thank you that my music helped you. @TeamSussex.”
