New Delhi, JNN. Bollywood celebrities recently met Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. He featured many actors including Sunil Shetty, Subhash Ghai, Jackie Shroff, Sonu Nigam and Boney Kapoor. CM Yogi had a meeting with these celebrities regarding the Film City being built in Noida. Meanwhile, Sunil Shetty demanded the removal of the Boycott Bollywood trend that is running on social media, he said that we are suffering a lot because of this.

The boycott trend should end

Sunil Shetty told the CM that 99 percent of Bollywood people don’t do drugs and work hard to entertain people. This kind of boycott trend causes us a lot of losses. Therefore, it is necessary to eliminate trends like #BoycottBollywood. By doing this, the image of Bollywood is also tarnished.

Sunil Shetty appealed

During this meeting, Sunil Shetty talked about the films that have faced this Bollywood boycott trend. Recently, there was a huge protest against Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan film in the country. Many theaters are also being vandalized by this. The whole controversy started when Deepika Padukone struck a daring pose in a saffron bikini in the song Besharam Rang. People called it hurtful to religious feelings.

These movies flopped because of Boycott

We remind you that in the last year, many films have fallen prey to this boycott trend. Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar suffered the most. Aamir’s ‘Lal Singh Chadha’ flopped badly in theatres, while Akshay Kumar’s 4 films failed to see the face of success. Many movies including Liger and ‘Thank God’ suffered due to this trend.

CM Yogi arrived in Mumbai

CM Yogi Adityanath, who was in Mumbai, interacted with various Bollywood celebrities. The Chief Minister is on a two-day visit to Mumbai to promote Uttar Pradesh as “the most cinema-friendly state in India.” Apart from Sunil Shetty, other celebrities like Ravi Kishan, Jackie Bhagnani, Jackie Shroff, Rajpal Yadav, Sonu Nigam along with Boney Kapoor and Subhash Ghai attended the meeting.
