Bill Murray There has been an allegation of inappropriate behavior on the sets of Aziz Ansari’s film Being Mortal. According to Variety, the production of the film was put on hold amid the ongoing investigation against the 71-year-old actor. The nature of the complaint is not yet clear and Murray’s return to the project is uncertain.
As Variety reports, the film starring Ansair, Murray and Seth Rogen halted its production recently after the crew received a letter informing them that filming had been suspended due to a complaint. “Last weekend, we were made aware of a complaint, and we looked into it immediately,” the letter said. However, it was later revealed that the production halt was not due to COVID-19 reasons or anything related to it. Aziz Ansari Or Seth Rogen. The note also said, “We hope to resume production and [we] working with Aziz and [producer Youree Henley] Time to find out,” via Variety.
It is still not clear what the complaint is about and its details are yet unknown. As for Murray’s previous controversies, the actor had previously been called out for misconduct by Charlie’s Angels star Lucy Liu, who said that some of the language he used on set was “unforgivable and unacceptable”. The actress said she stood up for herself while speaking to the LA Times at the time.
Being Mortal is Aziz Ansari’s feature directorial debut. The film is based on the book of the same name by Atul Gawande.
