AIB’s Rohan Joshi receives heavy backlash over rant against late comedian; Sikander Kher says, ‘he lacks a huge dose of humanity’
Comedian Raju Srivastava expired on October 21, 2022. He fought for his life for about 40 days before leaving for his heavenly abode. On August 10, while exercising at the gym, Raju Srivastava complained of chest pain and was rushed to hospital. Since then he has been connected to a ventilator. His funeral took place today. Condolences and condolence messages are pouring in from all social networks. From Prime Minister Narendra Modi to actor Ajay Devgan, many people have expressed their sorrow over his death. But, a message from AIB’s Rohan Joshi caught everyone’s attention and netizens are not happy.
Reaction to Rohan Joshi’s comment
Rohan Joshi lashed out at Raju Srivastava in a comment on Instagram and it’s full entertainment news. He said that the late comedian did not like the new generation of comedians and was talking nonsense about the art form to come. He also wrote about Kamra and Good Ridge. This was not well received and was criticized left and right by many people on social media. Rohan Joshi is trending on Twitter as netizens are angry at him for making such comments after Raju Srivastava’s death.
In fact, actor Sikander Kher also expressed his disappointment at Rohan Joshi’s comment. The Arya actor shared his opinion, writing, “But, after reading this about someone who passed away too soon, it saddens me to see that a young man who can be funny and witty can have some humanity in him. There is a huge dose of deficiency. #Unfortunate #disappointing and very #uncool. PS I had to go through a lot to be so humble.”
