Aamir Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan’s film witnesses a slight jump in numbers; closes 1st weekend on a miserable note
Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga ChaitanyaY mona singh starring Lal Singh Chaddha Released on August 11, 2022. The movie, which is an adaptation of the Hollywood movie Forrest Gump, has been in the news for quite some time. Although this Aamir film was expected to bring audiences to theaters, the story seems to be quite the opposite. Despite having a long weekend since the film opened on Thursday, Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha had a disastrous collection. Even the Raksha Bandhan holidays couldn’t help Aamir’s film do well at the box office.
Laal Singh Chaddha Day 4 Box Office Collection
On the fourth day of its release on Sunday, Aamir Khan’s film Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya, Laal Singh Chaddha earned around Rs 10 million. Sunday reportedly saw a slight jump in collections as it earned around Rs 8.75 crore at the box office on Saturday. Despite a slight jump, the film has marked a disastrous opening weekend for Aamir Khan’s film. Made with a huge budget, Lal Singh Chaddha took nearly two and a half years to release. However, netizens began calling for a boycott of the film based on old comments about bigotry made by Aamir Khan. It seems that all the negativity surrounding the film has affected the box office takings of Laal Singh Chaddha. The film failed to even touch the Rs 50 crore mark in its opening weekend.
Laal Singh Chaddha clashed with Akshay Kumar’s leading man Raksha Bandhan and both films have had disastrous performances so far. None of them managed to captivate the audience and revive theatrical culture for the Hindi film audience.

Earlier, during promotions for Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan apologized to all those whom he had inadvertently offended and asked everyone not to boycott his film.
