A city school has taken a major initiative to speed up the corona vaccination in Meerut. Ved International School grants students in grades I to XII seven to eight months fee waiver if the children’s parents are vaccinated. This exemption is Rs. 1.5 crore. The school management took this positive step so that the third corona wave does not catch anyone.In a press conference at the Olivia Hotel on Thursday, Ajit Kumar, chairman of the Ved International School, said that there could be great damage if the third wave of Kovid-19 comes. In such a situation, all parents should get vaccinated as soon as possible. In order to raise awareness among parents, parents who are vaccinated by school are exempt from paying their children’s fees.

In the 2021-22 session, the fees will be waived for 5 to 8 months. This discount is 42 to 67 percent. From day nursery class to UKG in 8 months, only 6,600 of 13,200 fees have to be paid. In grades 1 and 2, 50% of the fee is waived for 6 months of relaxation. 11,550 just have to be paid. 12,600 must also be given in grades 3-4 in 50% relaxation. In grades 5 and 6, 13,200 fees are charged with a relaxation of 50 percent, i.e. 6 months.

In grades 7-8 there is a 50% discount on the fees for 6 months. In classes IX-X there is a fee exemption for 5 months. There is 42 percent relaxation in grades 11 to 12, and parents have to pay 24,500. Even in the 11th and 12th trading classes, 22,400 fees are due after 5 months and 42 percent relaxation.According to the school management, parents who wish to pay a lump sum after the discount can do so. State government should help schools
Ajit Kumar said that many schools are in poor condition due to the non-receipt of fees in Kovid-19. There are many such schools that have penalized the children by taking out loans. Schools are closing, vehicles are standing still and it has become difficult to pay their loan installments. Electricity bill has to be paid on an ongoing basis. In such a situation, the state government should help the schools financially. If this does not happen, more than 50 schools will be closed.
