Ukraine War: The local governor in Kharkiv said the army was driving out Russian forces during a “clean-up” operation.
The local governor said Ukraine’s military had regained full control of Kharkiv after street fighting with Russian troops in the country’s second-largest city on Sunday.
“Kharkiv is completely under our control,” the head of the regional administration, Oleg Sinegubov, said on Telegram, adding that the army was pushing out Russian forces during the “clean-up” operation.
