London:
Trade Minister Anne-Marie Trevelyan on Thursday said Britain is deeply disappointed by India’s stand on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, but still considers it an important trading partner.
Asked whether India’s stand would affect trade talks with Britain, Trevelyan said: “We are very disappointed. We continue to work with Indian partners.”
“India is an incredibly important trading partner for Britain. We will continue to work with countries around the world to ensure that Putin is unable to fund this war in the future,” he told reporters.
