At least one person was killed and 13 others injured during a shooting at a hookah lounge in Las Vegas on Saturday (local time).
News network CNN quoted a statement from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as saying that officers received information about the shooting at around 3:15 p.m. (local time) at a business in the 900 block of East Sahara Avenue and that 14 victims were shot.
According to the police statement, one person was declared brought dead and the condition of two others is said to be critical, while the condition of the rest of the victims is stable.
CNN reported that the statement said investigators believe the shooting began after an altercation between at least two people during a party.

“During the brawl, subjects exchanged gunfire, killing several people,” the police statement said.
Officials are investigating the incident and have not released the names of the victims or suspects. According to CNN, police said no arrests had been made.
