Latghat. The Bhimber-Raunapar road, which was built for lakhs two years ago, has become dilapidated. There were so many potholes on this 12 km stretch that it became difficult to walk on these tracks after the rain. Vehicles that ride two-wheelers and bicycles are injured every day.
This road is the main route to reach dozens of Bhimber, Budhanpatti, Chandpatti and Raunapar market in the area. The road has become dilapidated as a result of the breakdown, which creates the possibility of an accident. The villagers said they faced many problems due to the ramshackle road. The traffic of overloaded vehicles continues indiscriminately. Vehicles that carry more material than their capacity are subject to accidents on a daily basis. Because the road is swampy, large vehicles get stuck in it. Villagers say the street in Chandpatti main market has turned into a puddle. Getting a two-wheeler has become difficult. Chandpatti village head Mohammad Tehseem Ahmed said a complaint was filed from the block to the district headquarters with the affected department, but that road started to break as soon as it was built two years ago and today this entire market has turned into one Transformed pond. That made traveling difficult. We villagers will be forced to hold dharna if there is no work in a week, and we will also block the market if necessary.
