Bed Entrance Exam – BEd Joint Entrance Exam concluded between Kovid Protocol and online monitoring

Rampur. In the BEd Joint Entrance Examination held in the city, 2773 candidates were registered. In which 2504 candidates appeared in the first shift and 2506 in the second shift. In the first shift 269 candidates and in the second shift 267 candidates left the examination. During the examination, elaborate arrangements were made to prevent corona infection. The examination was also under the online supervision of Lucknow University. Administrative officers inspected the examination centers and took stock of the examination. On Friday, Lucknow University conducted a combined B.Ed entrance examination in the entire state. The examination was held in two shifts at eight examination centers in the city. The first shift exam started at 9 am. The candidates started reaching the examination centers an hour before the commencement of the examination. The personnel present at the gate of the examination centers first did thermal screening of each candidate and then entered the examination hall by giving faceshield, mask, sanitizer. Thumb impressions were taken using disposable stamp strips in the examination hall. The face biometric attendance of the candidates was taken at the examination centers. CCTV cameras and routers were installed at all the examination centres. Online monitoring of the examination was being done by the control room of Lucknow University. The examination halls were sanitized along with the installation of seating plans at all the examination centres. At the Government Raza Inter College Examination Center, they got troubled because the photographs on the admit cards downloaded by the candidates were not clear. SDM Sadar Manish Meena, who reached the spot, got the problem resolved. After this these candidates were given admission in the examination hall.
