The NSUI has brought up the opening of the Banaras Hindu University (BHU), which will be closed during the Corona period, again. The officials of the NSUI BHU unit met with the responsible Vice Chancellor and submitted a memorandum for the opening of the university. Only 10 days ago NSUI had made the same request to the Vice Chancellor. Meanwhile, the Vice Chancellor called for classes to be held both offline and online. Also warned that if the university administration does not make a decision by July 30th, agitation will be pursued.

Students of the NSUI BHU unit Secretary General Anik Dev Singh, Rana Rohit Singh etc. said in a conversation with the Vice Chancellor that in the past 17 months the closure of the BHU caused a lot of loss in the students’ studies. Now that the corona infection has receded, classes should also start here while the university is open.

It has been said that because of the teaching in offline and online mode, students can conduct their studies on a large scale. In addition, the students also asked for the practical lessons to be carried out in offline mode. The students asked the Vice Chancellor to be vaccinated at the earliest. People like Kapishwar Mishra, Shubham Rai, Sudhanshu Tiwari etc. were present.
