People have been seen shopping in the market since the afternoon. Most of the crowds could be seen in grocery stores and medical stores. Now there will be a suspension until Tuesday morning. Necessary services will continue in the meantime.
The government has now locked three days a week in an effort to break the growing chain of corona infections in the country. There used to be a lockdown from 8 a.m. on Friday evening to 7 a.m. on Monday, but starting this week on Tuesday, the lock was imposed from 7 a.m. to Tuesday. This is also followed. People were concerned about the three day lockdown.
People turned to the market to buy basic necessities for the house. Shoppers were abundant at the city’s Ghantaghar Market, Peepal Crossing, Chhoti Bazaar, Digiha-Tiraha Crossing, Pani-Tanki Crossing, and other places. Social distancing was not taken into account in the purchase. Everyone really wanted to buy the goods. Now there will be a suspension until Tuesday morning. In such a situation, the emergency and necessary services will continue.
Preventing black marketing in a three-day lockdown would be a real challenge for the district administration. The highest black marketing consists of pan masala and cigarettes. People continue to sell goods at expensive prices even when the store is closed. The district administration is waiting for the complaint.
