Bahraich – 1276 voting booths will vote today, 25 lakh voters will decide the fate of the candidates

Bahraich The votes for the Panchayat elections will be cast in 1,276 polling stations on Thursday. 2504,870 voters will finally seal the fate of the candidates for the posts of Gram Pradhan, Zilla Panchayat, Kshetra Panchayat and Gram Panchayat. In the chaos, polling stations were sent from the block headquarters on Wednesday. Claims about the administration of the Kovid Protocol were considered to have gotten out of hand due to severe disruptions.
The vote for the three-stage Panchayat election will take place today. Voting starts at 7 a.m. and lasts until 6 p.m. Polling stations were sent to vote on Wednesday from the district’s 14-block headquarters. Because of this, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the block headquarters. 4246 polling stations were set up for 1276 polling stations. In which 490 were reserved. All of these were sent under the supervision of election officials and sector magistrates and handed over the service card. Voters will put their final stamp on the fate of the 20,604 candidates on Thursday. While the vote count will take place on May 2nd.
There are no elections for six of the village chief’s posts. Vipin Mishra, a candidate from Purana Village of the Visheshwarganj Development Block and Vasudha Tiwari from Bassera, passed away before the vote. The elections in all these places were postponed after the deaths of Mohammed Omar from Motipur, Vikas Block, Mohammed Omar and Kodai from Purana Raghunath, Reshma from Bardahakala from Vikas Block Shivpur and Fatima from the village of Parsendi in Kaiserganj. In such a situation, only 1,037 major district posts will receive votes for the election. Two people have already been elected without opposing candidates.
No voter can carry a cell phone to the polling station on election day. The administration has banned cell phones. Those who carry cell phones must keep their phones outside the polling station. The SP said that even the candidate’s agent cannot take the cell phone.

The situation has become clear after the nomination in the Panchayat elections was withdrawn. Two posts of the village chief were declared unimpeded in the elections. While 50 Kshetra Panchayat members were also unopposed. A maximum of 9262 grams of Panchayat members were elected unopposed.

With regard to the Panchayat elections on April 29, a public holiday has been declared by order of the Chief Secretary. A public holiday will be held in all governmental and parastatal offices. Only electoral work is carried out.
