Babil Khan, son of the late actor Irrfan Khan, recently made his acting debut with Kaala opposite Tripti Dimri. The film was released on an OTT platform. Babil received an overwhelming response from the audience. People were seen praising his acting skills. Amid praise from fans, Babil took to Instagram to share an old photo of his parents Irrfan Sutapa Sikdar and his brother Ayaan. Along with the image, he has written an emotional note remembering his late father.
Babil Khan remembered father Irrfan Khan
In the flashback, Sutapa is seen sitting between her husband and son. All of them are wearing winter outfits. She is seen enjoying the beautiful views during one of her trips. Before the anniversary of Irrfan’s birth, Babil remembered him with a special note. He also extended New Year wishes to his family on his Instagram. His post read: “2023: Happy New Year to all of you. Baba’s birthday is in 3 days. Let’s refine ourselves. Let’s pause, reflect and identify. Let’s understand the gaps these walls have created between you and me, let us. “I want to love you and come together. Let’s come together this year. Let’s be one big family.” have a look:
Shortly after sharing the post, the late actor’s friends and fans were seen dropping sweet comments. Paresh Rawal’s son Aditya Rawal posted a red heart emoji. One fan commented, “I saw the reflection of Irrfan sir in his eyes as he looked at the art…I felt he had a presence; It was truly magical.” Another fan commented: “He was, is and always will be a legend. His mind always worked beautifully.”
Irrfan Khan passed away
The renowned actor who impressed everyone with his strong performances passed away in April 2020. The news of his passing shocked the entire country. His last rites were performed by members of his family due to the pandemic. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Babil talked about going through a difficult time after his father’s death. He said: “It was hard to accept myself and accept my shortcomings. And understand who you were when Baba was there. The security that Baba had given me suddenly disappeared. He was very scared, very scared. “So it was extremely difficult.”
Irrfan was last seen on Angrezi Medium alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Radhika Madan and Deepak Dobriyal.
