Ayushman Aapke Dwar Campaign Will Be Made For Free Golden Cards


Shravasti. Under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (Ayushman Bharat), the Health Department has started the Ayushman Aapke Dwar campaign for the beneficiaries who have not yet made golden cards. The campaign, which started on Thursday, will continue till September 30 in the district. Under the campaign, the health department teams will visit such habitations where the number of cardless beneficiaries is high. The team of Jan Seva Kendra will make golden cards of all of them. Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad has issued instructions by sending letters to the District Magistrate and Chief Medical Officer.
CMO Dr. AP Bhargava informed that village wise camps are being organized for making golden cards of beneficiaries. In this, free golden cards of selected beneficiaries will be made by Jan Seva Kendras. Earlier, a fee of Rs 30 was charged by the Jan Seva Kendra. Beneficiaries can get their eligibility information from nearest public service center, village’s ASHA worker, kotdar and public representatives or by calling on 14555. Under the scheme, special attention is to be paid to such villages and wards, where the number of beneficiaries without Ayushman card is high. The program’s nodal officer and ACMO Dr. Udaynath informed that a total of 72,144 families of the district have been covered under the scheme under the campaign. These people can get free treatment up to five lakh rupees by getting admitted in empaneled hospitals. So far, golden cards of 97,344 beneficiaries have been made in the district.
With this, at least one member of 37,798 beneficiary families has been made golden card. Seven government and one private health center in the district are listed under this scheme. So far, 4832 beneficiaries of the district have got the facility of free treatment. District Health Education and Information Officer Abhay Pratap said that the District Magistrate has directed the Lekhpals, Village Secretaries, Kotedars and Asha Bahus to make 100 percent golden cards of the beneficiaries at the nearest public service centers and in the camps organized. So that golden card can be made for all the beneficiary families left in the district.
A task force has been constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Development Officer. Through which the cards made every day will be reviewed. To get a golden card, it is mandatory for the beneficiary to bring a copy of the Aadhar card and ration card or the letter of the Prime Minister or Chief Minister or the family register.
