The Indian army has 24 brave helicopter pilots. These pilots were welcomed by the Army at the graduation ceremony of the 207th Army Aviation Course at the Basic Flying Training School (BFTS) at Air Force Station Bamhrauli. These 24 budding fliers have undergone rigorous flight and ground training for the course over the past five months. Air Commodore Neeraj Kumar VM, Commanding Air Officer, Air Force Station Bamrauli, was the verification officer for the graduation ceremony. He was led by Wing Commander Amit Hari Kulkarni, Commanding Officer of BFTS. As part of the farewell ceremony, the commander of the Air Force officers presented the successful candidate officers with certificates and the top officers were presented with trophies. Captain S. Sritej Raju received the trophy for first place in the flying subject (flight subject) and Captain Vaibhav (floor subject) for the best overall performance along with the floor course.

Among the coaches at BFTS, Squadron Leader S Sirohiya and Squadron Leader Shubham Gautam were awarded the Best Instructor Trophy. On this occasion, Air Commodore Neeraj Kumar congratulated the army officers, especially the trophy winners. Regarding the rapid change in aviation technology, he highlighted the role of these pilots and reminded them that there is no room for error in the work of military helicopter pilots, especially when they are involved in saving the lives of compatriots in need. The officers were also advised to keep themselves ready and practiced for the future art of war.
