Anurag Kashyap says Shahrukh Khan has left him
In an interview to Unfiltered by Samdish, Anurag Kashyap said that the things that Shah Rukh doesn’t ‘understand’ are the reasons why he has ‘left’ him. Talking about his relationship with Shah Rukh, Anurag said: ‘He is my last year in college. When the call from him comes, I stand up to take the call.
Anurag further said: ‘He (Shahrukh Khan) has left me. Unke liye mujhe kuch sahm nahi aayega, mera kuch nahi hota sakte (Shah Rukh feels that I do not understand things). He is like a big brother who keeps telling me what not to do. They told me why I shouldn’t say anything, why I shouldn’t be on Twitter.
Anurag Kashyap says he avoided working with Shah Rukh Khan
Anurag Kashyap further said that Shah Rukh Khan advised him on many things. He revealed that he was offered to write Ashoka, starring Shah Rukh Khan. “First Ashok came to me for the sake of. A lot of those projects used to come to him, but since then he used to avoid it quite a bit. He is Shah Rukh Khan, he has a stardom, a worldview. I want to make the kind of movie I want to make. movies that do it justice. I want to make movies my way.
He added that not only Shah Rukh but everyone who cares about Anurag wants him to see life as they see it. “Aap bole na save nahi karte ho, why not be practical, everything that a normal person should or should do in the eyes of the world, he (Shah Rukh) is also like that, everything is like that. Mujhe waise jena hi nahi hai,” Anurag said.
