District Utility Representative Rajeev Shukla said that the distribution of free food grain for June will be between June 20-30. Antyodaya ration card holders receive 20 kg of wheat per food card and 15 kg of rice per food card. While the authorized holders of a household ration card receive three kg of wheat per unit and rice two kg per unit. He said that this time three kg of sugar would also be delivered to Antyodaya ration card holders at a price of 18 rupees per kg for three months. June 30th is the last delivery date. Grocery card holders who for some reason are unable to obtain essential goods through Aadhaar authentication can receive grocery grains via mobile OTP verification on June 30th. The fair-price shops will remain open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the dates mentioned. Fair-priced providers have been instructed to ensure 100 percent compliance with the COVID protocol during distribution.
