The Kamrup Industrial Gases Limited oxygen plant in Darru in Rohania, Varanasi, which has been closed for three years, was transferred to the Prahlad Ghat facility of Annapurna Industrial Gas Limited. District Judge Kaushal Raj Sharma said it was ordered to start producing oxygen at the facility on Sunday. This facility with a capacity of four tons will produce 400 oxygen bottles a day in 24 hours. Applications were made three days before the plant was taken over to operate the plant. There were a total of five uses in which Annapurna gas was found suitable. By commissioning the system, the lack of oxygen is significantly reduced.

The facility was closed. At that time, the district administration was busy getting the plant back into operation in view of the lack of oxygen. The Deputy Commissioner for Industry, Virendra Kumar, announced that the plant will start on May 2nd.
