11 ambulances from 108, 15 from 102 and two ambulances from ALS are in use in the district. On Saturday, the employees of the Life Day Health Department, Ambulance Employees Union, held a sit-in at the CHC and called for six-point demands. District President Amit Balian said the agitation for the demands across the state began Friday. They demand that the employees should not be changed if the company changes. Experienced employees should be kept, Warriors Ambulance employees should be kept free from contract practice. The families of relatives who were martyred during the Corona period should be financially supported and no wage deductions should be made when changing companies. He warned that agitation would intensify if the government did not comply with their demands. District President Amit Balian, Vikas, Rahul, Anil, Bijendra, Om Singh, Praveen and Pushpendra were present on this occasion.
