Allahabad University (IVV) accounting department does not receive invoices for the advances received from teachers. In one such situation, the IVI administration sent a letter to around 30 teachers asking them to settle the pre-collected amount. Among them is the former acting Vice Chancellor of the IVI, Prof. The name of RR Tiwari, from whom the accounts of the advances in the years 2002 and 2003 were requested. The letter to the teachers also states that if they fail to provide the account, the amount collected in advance will be withdrawn. After writing in such old cases, questions about the functionality of the IVI administration are now being raised. Sources say the Allahabad University account book has not been updated in a long time. It is now being updated so that there are no more objections to future examinations. In such a situation, the accounts of the progress made by the teachers in the past on various points are also checked. If the account has not been received, a letter has been sent to the teachers asking them to provide details of the amount raised within a week in advance. Provide details along with photocopies of the records if invoices have been submitted for adjustment. If this letter is not replied to, the request will be made without notice.

A letter from the IVI administration to the former acting Vice Chancellor of the IVI stated that he had not settled the prepaid amounts for nine types of items in 2002 and 2003. This includes items like computer testing, data entry, computer repair, maintenance, website renewal. About this Prof. RR Tiwari says that he will reply to the communication shortly. At the same time, IVI’s PRO refused to Dr. Jaya Kapoor to say something on this matter. In the midst of all this, the question arises, what has the IVI administration been doing so far? The amount accepted in advance should be paid by the end of each financial year. The university was given central status in 2005, wasn’t the account reconciled back then? If so, why is it asked earlier?
