All Panchayats will be connected to the internet in Amethi by August

Gauriganj (Amethi). At the village level, work on laying internet lines to all 682 gram panchayats in the district to inform the villagers of the plans and to submit all kinds of applications is proceeding at a rapid pace. CDO Dr. Ankur Lather conducted an on-site inspection of ongoing works at Sarai Hridayshah, Gram Panchayat of Gauriganj.
During the inspection, the BSNL AGM Ajay Kumar was asked about the progress of the laying of the line, he said that the work was affected by rain. As soon as the rain stops, the closure works will be carried out quickly. The CDO instructed the general meeting to complete 50 percent of the work by July and 100 percent in August.
The CDO said that on instructions from the government, BSNL and BBNL had been given responsibility for laying fiber optic lines in the district. Said work is currently in progress on making lines up to 165 grams of panchayats. After this work is completed, Common Service Centers will be operated in all Gram Panchayat buildings after an internet connection has been made available there.
After the villagers have reached the internet connection, they can also use the internet line. This way, the villagers can find out about the programs run by the government in their village itself and no longer have to go out to make different types of applications.
