The Agra Development Authority has issued a notice to hospital management in the case of Shri Paras Hospital in Agra. Shri Paras Hospital is charged with illegally building and operating the hospital without passing the card. Following the complaint on this matter, ADA Vice President Dr. Rajendra Pansia obtained a report from the Chief Town Planner. The investigation found that the hospital was built on the property, the plan of which was approved in the residential area 20 years ago. The permit was not granted after the hospital was built. The hospital started operations six years ago from Shri Paras Hospital on Bypass Road, but no card with that name has been approved by the Agra Development Authority. This building was built in 2002. Hospital management had said that they operated the hospital in the previously built building, but according to the rules, after the hospital was operated, they should have received the information and permission from the ADA about the changes made in the building according to the standards of the ADA hospital, but no such permission was found in the documents of the ADA either.

Senior Urban Planner RK Singh investigated and found that the building on Bypass Road has been approved as a residential building. When Shree Paras Hospital operated, it did not accept the change according to the hospital’s standards. In this regard, the ADA Vice President has issued a notice to the Shri Paras Hospital. A response was requested from hospital management. The ADA vice president said that after receiving the response to the notice, ADA would take further action.

430 residential hospitals
The ADA issued notices to Gatewell Hospital, Holy Care Hospital, Sikandra Hospital, Chiranjeevi Nursing Home, and Sitaram Medicare. In addition, 26 hospitals will be notified this week. There are 430 residential hospitals in the city.
