Gram Panchayat Maniharsharki Pradhan Sanjay Kumar from the Jagatpur block had sent a letter of complaint to the DM two days ago, in which he claimed that the payment was arbitrary. It is alleged that in the name of digging up a hand pump, 27,155 rupees were paid by the administrator and secretary in toleration on June 16, but the hand pump has not yet been reburied.
There are allegations that this payment did not even result in the invoice being corrected. Not only that, the rubbish bin was also purchased after the ban. On June 20, after the Pradhan was sworn in at the Gram Panchayat Dharmadaspur in the Jagatpur Block, about 55,000 rupees were paid four times to Kumar Enterprises. Similarly, in many other gram panchayats, payments were made arbitrarily. The DM takes the matter seriously and has handed the investigation over to DDO SN Chaurasia.
Investigations buried for four months, pending answer
Four months ago, on the direction of the Deputy Director Panchayati Raj, the DPRO had asked for a response in the case of arbitrary payments in Gram Panchayat Bhikh, Daulatpur, etc. Panchayats of the Jagatpur Bloc by notifying the boards of directors and secretaries, but the matter got through Choices cooled. It is said that now the administrator has not even given the answer to the DPRO office on the matter, the matter is being suppressed.
In Jagatpur, the DDO was tasked with investigating payments from the administrator in several villages. As soon as the investigation report has been received, action will be taken against the person concerned. Nobody is spared.
