Jhansi. For admission to the BAMS at the Bundelkhand Government Ayurvedic College, 20 places can be increased. The university management has prepared its proposal. It will be sent to the Central Council for AYUSH Medical (CCIM) shortly. After acceptance, the number of seats in the colleges increases to 60.
The Ayurvedic College is recognized for admission by the CCIM every year. Although there are currently 40 seats in the college, CCIM has approved 10 additional seats. The college has 14 departments including Fundamental Theory, Anatomy, Physiology, Dravya Guna, Rasa Shastra and Vaishya Kalpana Vigyan, Disease Diagnosis, Agad Tantra and Behavior Ayurveda. It is compulsory for everyone to have a higher faculty. In the medical faculty, however, two higher faculties are required in which a professor is compulsory. There is currently no shortage of teachers at the university. For this reason, it has been recognized continuously for three years. In such a situation the college administration made a proposal to create 60 instead of 40 seats. It is sent to CCIM. Once approved, the college will be admitted to 60 places.
