Aadhar Card Amendment Fee Doubled

The fee for amending the Aadhar card has doubled in Bijnor. If a new Aadhar card will be made for free, then Rs 50 will have to be paid for modification of mobile number and Rs 100 for updation of address etc. The District Postal Administration has directed the postmasters to start this facility in almost all the post offices of the district. According to officials, the device has been made available to the postmasters of some post offices, while the work of updation is going on in some. Aadhar cards are made in public service centers, post offices and banks and they are modified in various ways. Postal Superintendent Radheshyam Sharma said that a total of 303 post offices are operating in the district, out of which 258 are located in rural areas and 45 are located in urban areas. Till now, almost every post office in urban areas has the work of making and modifying Aadhar cards, but now people living in rural and rural areas will be started this facility in their areas only. After this people will continue to get this facility uninterruptedly.
