In the village of Khedikhushanam in the Chausana area of Shamli, the youth who climbed the pole that connected the cable of the pipe well was electrocuted. Ajay’s son Rajkumar, 20, from Khedikhushanam, used to work in the sugar factory in transportation. It was said that his family’s tube well has an electricity bill pending for about 35 thousand rupees. Thereupon, JE Premveer, who was posted at the village’s power house, disconnected the pipe well and had the cable removed on Monday afternoon. At the same time that Ajay returned home that evening, he found out about the breakup. After that, he went to the power plant and met JE. Villagers said that JE asked him to plug in the cable. Also said that the shutdown is in progress, climb the mast and connect the cable yourself. Around 9 a.m., Ajay hooked up the cable by climbing the mast when the power was turned on and he was electrocuted on the spot. At the same time, resentment about the incident spread among the villagers.

On Tuesday morning, the deceased’s relatives filed a complaint with the Chausana Post Office, demanding a complaint against JE and demanding his suspension. Meanwhile, the villagers did not allow the bodies to be picked up for autopsy. When SDM Pankaj Rathore received information about the incident, he reached the point. He explained it to the villagers and guaranteed compensation of Rs.5 lakh. After much persuasion, the villagers agreed to send the body for an autopsy.

The SDO said the matter was being investigated. On the other hand, JE Premveer has denied the allegation. He says he didn’t ask for the cable to be plugged in.
