Ahraula The Matlubpur water tank is not properly maintained due to the handover to the Gram Sabha. The villagers suffer from the brunt of departmental apathy. In 2013 a water tank was built in Matlubpur Gram Sabha for the water supply, which cost several million rupees to supply the village. The water supply line is damaged from place to place. In Matlubpur Gram Sabha, a 10,000-liter tank for the water company was built on the banks of the Tamsa River. On which a budget of millions of rupees was spent. According to the villagers, poor quality pipes were laid which damaged them on the site just a few months after they were built. Because of this, there is no water supply available on the Matlubpur market. The market residents of Matlubpur continued to demand water supply, but received no water connection. Villagers and marketers say the operator is being used on the tank on behalf of the Jal Nigam. He comes once or twice a month and the tank is operated by a private person. People had also spoken out against laying pipes for the water supply, but no one was heard before the department’s requests, and now people are suffering in the Bhamiyaja market.
