A Strange Mental Asylum Part 1 (Chrennel Edition)

I dedicate this SS to my friend Adhiamulullu who wanted me to write a shrenal version of this concept which is taken from a movie. Those who have seen the movie must have guessed the movie after reading this chapter. But please don’t disclose it. Because people who have not seen the movie will not be able to enjoy this story if you reveal the details of the movie. I thank my dear friend Sydel for this beautiful cover page.

A middle-aged woman named Shubhavi entered his house. She was shocked to see her family members dead. He saw blood flowing. He saw a young woman holding a knife and seeing blood stains on it.

Shubhavi hugged him and cried.

“Nitya… what did you do?”

Nitya was expressionless.

Shubhavi snatched the knife from him and threw it.

Nitya saw the blood stains on her palms.

A madhouse in the forest. A girl looked up in pain as if she was missing someone.

She was none other than Nitya. A female nurse named Supriya went to Nitya with food.

She: You had nothing. Eat baby.

Nitya was silent.

She: May I ask you something? Who did you kill?

Nitya looked at her angrily and pushed her. The woman ran away in fear.

Hearing the sound of a bell, a couple opened the door. They were Dr. Tej and his wife Svetlana.

Saw a young man at the door.

He: I am Dr. Reyansh Khurana from the Department of Psychiatry, Medical College.

Reyansh also showed him his identity card.

Reyansh: The government has sent me here for investigation. It is heard that this mental hospital is not normal and strange incidents are happening here… like many suicides are taking place here and skeletons are found nearby.

Tej: Mental patients live here. They have the tendency to commit suicide. So how are we to blame? These are not in our hands.

Reyansh: But it’s your responsibility to make sure your patients are safe. That is what a responsible doctor running such a hospital would do.

Tej-Svetlana was silent.

Reyansh: There is a rumor that you give extreme shock treatment to your patients.

Tej: No doctor. I don’t do it. The patients here are those who have lost their composure because of their tragic past. So I erase the past from their memory by hypnotherapy.

Reyansh smiled.

Reyansh: Sorry Dr. Tej. I cannot agree with your method. I am not convinced yet.

The fast slowed down.

A girl came to Reyansh and started staring at him. He had a knife in his hand.

He: Go and run away. Otherwise you will be finished in two days. If you want, take this knife for self-defense.

Reyansh is shocked.

Svetlana: Nurse!

Supriya came and dragged her away.

Reyansh: What was that girl saying? This place is not safe? I will be killed in 2 days?

Svetlana: Sorry doctor. She is a mental patient named Rani. She is also very violent. That’s why she was holding a knife in her hand.

Reyansh: How can you all be so irresponsible and careless? Because of your carelessness, the patient has a knife in his hand which is very dangerous. He is not in his senses. Anything could have happened. Very bad.

Tej-Svetlana did not know what to say to defend herself.

Reyansh: Immediately arrange a room for me. I have to do a thorough check-up of this hospital.

Tej: Absolutely doctor. Svetlana…show her your room and take her for a walk.

Svetlana: Okay.

Svetlana went to arrange the room.

Reyansh looked at Tej and said: Look… if I find anything suspicious, I will report it and that will be the end of this hospital.

Sharp panicked.

Svetlana gave Reyansh a room. After Reyansh was fresh, she took him for an affair.

Reyansh met some mental patients there.

He saw a middle-aged man drawing a picture.

Reyansh smiled.

Reyansh: It’s good that you guys are letting your patients do what they love.

Svetlana smiled: We always give freedom to our patients. We treat them like members of our family. Hope you understand it soon.

Reyansh smiled: It’s good if it’s true.

Svetlana: Her name is Moloy. He makes many pictures. He has a sixth sense. I mean he can predict the future and he hints through his pictures.

Reyansh is shocked.

Reyansh also met other patients.

Reyansh: Are you all really happy here? If you have any problem, you can share with me.

But none of them said anything bad about the treatment they got there.

Svetlana smiled and remembered how she had taught them to say nice things about the hospital.

Suddenly Reyansh saw the wound on the face of the nurse.

Reyansh: Who did this to you? Tell me frankly. Did Dr. Tej and his wife do anything to you?

Nurse Supriya: No doctor. I was pushed by a patient named Nitya.

Reyansh is stunned.

Reyansh went to Tej’s room.

Reyansh: Mrs. Svetlana hid a patient from me. Her name is Nitya. Why did you hide it from me?

I told you to show me all the patients.

Tej: I did not introduce you to Nitya because she is not considered sick. She is my daughter from my first marriage.

Reyansh is shocked.

Reyansh: Then why is he kept in the cell?

Tej: Her condition is complicated.

Reyansh: Show me. I want to see him.

Tej took her to Nitya’s cell. Reyansh looked at her from the window.

Reyansh: Open the door.

Tej: It is better not to go inside the doctor.

Reyansh: Do what I tell you.

Tej opened the door. Reyansh went inside the room.

Reyansh: Nitya…

Nitya looked at Reyansh.

Reyansh: Nitya!

Nitya looked at him angrily.

Nitya: Did you also come to ask me who I killed or how many people? So my answer is…

Nitya pushes him hard and Reyansh falls down.

He smiled sharply.

Tej: Now you understand why I told you not to enter this room?

Slowly Reyansh closed his eyes. He had fainted.

After some time Reyansh’s eyes opened and he was on the bed.

He saw nurse Supriya there.

Supriya: Nitya attacked you too. Okay? She is very dangerous. She killed 4 people… that too her own family members.

Reyansh gave a surprising expression.

Reyansh thought: Nitya’s condition cannot be cured. But I am sure of one thing. She is not Tej’s daughter. Had she been his daughter, she would not have been ignored and kept in the cell as if she had to isolate herself from everyone. But why is he lying that Nitya is his daughter? What is he hiding?

Reyansh was walking on the corridor looking at the boundary wall.

Suddenly he heard screaming. He was shocked. He followed the sound and reached near a room.

Reyansh: Someone is here. But who?

He saw an ancient cupboard nearby and looked for the key there. But he could not find anything. He shook the cupboard. A key fell down from the top of the cupboard. Reyansh took the key with a smile.

He opened the door and went inside the room. The room looked very strange. It was completely dark.

Suddenly he heard a voice. He was shocked.
