A Polling Place Will Be Built For 1200 Voters

Gyanpur. In view of the upcoming assembly elections, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of ADM Shailendra Mishra in the Collectorate Auditorium on Tuesday regarding the division of polling places. In this, a roadmap was made to fix the polling places. The ADM said that on the instructions of the Election Commission, polling stations with more than 1200 voters would be segregated. No auxiliary polling place will be kept in the new list. In special circumstances, polling places with very old and dilapidated buildings will be shifted to another building. No polling place shall be set up within 200 meters from any political party and labor union office. Other officers along with BLO should ensure that last minute changes are not left. MLA Rabindranath Tripathi, Dinanath Bhaskar, ASDM Gyan Prakash Yadav etc. were present on this occasion.
