Chitrakoot. North Central Railway’s DRM inspected Manikpur and Shivrampur stations, including Chitrakootdham Karvi, on Saturday. Instructions were given to equip the chitrakoot station with CCTV and to set up its control room. It was recommended to build a pedestrian bridge for platform number 3 and across to Baldauganj. The order was soon given to hang a 30-meter-high national flag at the station. This work will be completed before August 15th.
DRM Sandeep Mathur expressed his displeasure with the mess at the train station and near the headquarters. Particular care must be taken to ensure that everything is clean from the platform to the relaxation room and the ticket counter. Instructions were given to install additional surveillance cameras on the station premises. If the booking agent sits empty at the ticket counter, he is instructed to cooperate at the reservation counter. So that the job can be done quickly.
Station manager RC Yadav said that upon arrival of VIP there is no special room on which he also instructed to make a VIP room with AC. Senior DOM Shashikant, SC Dubey, Manish Singh of Chitrakoot and Girish Pandey were present with him.
Traders reported problems
Shivrampur. Previously, the DRM inspected Shivrampur station and said there was a plan to restore old trains to a halt at that station, as well as some new trains. On Saturday, officials from Shivrampur Vyapar Mandal and other residents presented a memorandum to the DRM. In which it was requested that the Bundelkhand Express, Chitrakoot Express and new trains should stop here. Due to a lack of contact with Kanpur, Jhansi, Prayagraj, problems in business life were sensitized. (Conversation)
