A network of roads will be laid in the district
Shamli. A network of roads will be laid in the district to promote development works and to facilitate traffic. In this episode, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday gifted 77 km length of roads in the district at a cost of Rs 46.18 crore. The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of the roads. Of these, 7.51 km of roads were inaugurated by the Zilla Panchayat at a cost of Rs 3.17 crore, while eight roads of 70.05 km length were inaugurated at a cost of 43.01 crore under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna.
In the program organized at Collectorate NIC, MLA Tejendra Nirwal, District Panchayat President Madhu, DM Jasjit Kaur, CDO Shambhunath Tiwari, AMA Mukesh Jain of District Panchayat, Jawahar Singh, Executive Engineer of PMGSY, etc. listened to the virtual dialogue of the Chief Minister. During this, the Chief Minister said that after the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, development is reaching every village. Establishing a dialogue with the beneficiaries in various districts, the Chief Minister said that the work on all the projects to be done in District Panchayat, Kshetra Panchayat, Gram Panchayat should be done in a standard and quality manner so that it becomes a symbol of public trust.
