Bhagwant Mann: I have come to unite the Punjab and Bollywood film industry… Bhagwant Mann said on reaching Mumbai

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann arrived in Mumbai on Sunday. Maan has come to Mumbai for two days. Here he will meet industrialists. On reaching Mumbai, Maan said that we are planning to make a big film industry in Punjab. For this, he would ask the big production companies to come and set up their studios in Punjab. I have come to unite Punjab and Bollywood film industry.

Bhagwant said that I came to Mumbai to meet and invite businessmen in connection with the Invest Punjab Convention which will be held in February. We will promote large scale industry in Punjab. Many thanks from Team Maharashtra for the warm welcome and immense respect and love.
Addressing a gathering during the inauguration of the Eminence School in Mohali on Saturday, Bhagwant Mann said that during the tenure of the previous governments, Punjab proved to be the leading state in education on paper alone. However, he added that now the state would actually lead the country in providing quality education to students.

CM Mann said that government schools are making efforts for infrastructure and manpower, but previous governments misled people by presenting false figures. The Chief Minister said that since these governments neglected an important sector like education, the State fell behind in this education. The CM further said that many students are forced to give up their education halfway which ruins their bright future. Girls are unable to continue their education due to the scarcity of resources and the laxity of previous governments.
