85 Thousand Beneficiary Families Left Out Of Ayushman Card Will Be Added


Gonda. In Ayushman Abhiyan, the district secured the third position in the state. District Magistrate Markandeya Shahi thanked everyone for being included in the top three in 75 districts.
He informed that 85098 beneficiary families are still deprived of Ayushman card, the campaign for them will be run from September 16 to September 30, 2021. He thanked the media for the cooperation in the vaccination campaign.
The District Magistrate informed that there are 205735 beneficiary families in this scheme in the district. In which there are 200559 under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and 5176 beneficiary families under Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana. So far around 240000 Ayushman cards have been issued.
Ayushman Abhiyan was run from March 10, 2021 to March 24, 2021, in which about 73000 beneficiaries were verified. Due to this campaign, Gonda district stood third among the districts that issued maximum number of Ayushman cards.
There are still 85098 beneficiary families in the district, whose Ayushman card has not been made for any member. Targeting such families, Aapke Dwar Ayushman 2.0 campaign will be run from 16 September 2021 to 30 September 2021.
The process of making ayushmaan card will be free of cost. Earlier the beneficiary had to pay a fee of Rs.30. Under the announcement of the Chief Minister, 22576 registered workers engaged in building and construction in the district have been included in the Chief Minister’s Health Campaign.
Their Ayushman cards will also be made in this campaign. Till now the district Gonda is second in the state by making Ayushman cards of about 1700 workers. The DM said that the information of the camp will be given to the beneficiaries through ASHA call slip. The list of beneficiaries will be pasted in the Gram Panchayats.
Beneficiaries will have to bring PM letter / CM letter / Ration card / Labor registration and Aadhar card with them. 5 lakh per year is provided free assistance for the treatment of serious diseases to the beneficiary family identified by the Ayushman Bharat scheme. A total of 8 private and 19 government hospitals are identified under Ayushman Bharat scheme in Gonda district.
