72 drinking water projects are stuck due to lack of land

The government hired two private companies to carry out estimates for drinking water projects. M / s LC Infra and M / s Gayatri Project Pvt Ltd are preparing estimates for a drinking water project in the proposed villages as part of the Jal Jeevan Mission. So far the list of 101 villages has been made. Jal Nigam engineers perform technical reviews of the company’s estimates. Estimates of the proposed villages will be sent to the government before September.
All villages will be supplied with drinking water until 2024
The government’s goal is to supply all villages with drinking water by 2024. Drinking water projects have so far been started in 160 villages in 1185 gram panchayats in the district. There are currently 65 projects under construction. Once the drinking water project has gone into operation in 685 villages as part of the Jal Jeevan Mission, only 275 villages will need drinking water. These too will be saturated by 2024.
