In the past six months, from rations mafia to black marketing, fraudulent kotdars have registered 14 FIRs and 7 stores blocked by the supply department. At the meeting of the Vigilance Committee of the Food and Logistics Department in the Collectorate Auditorium, DM Chandra Bhushan Singh instructed that the state ration should definitely reach every eligible person. People should be identified by going from village to village, their food maps should be made. Negligence will not be tolerated. The DM instructed that under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana a free distribution of the rations should also take place in order to reach the beneficiaries with complete transparency. Grocery stores that are not in operation for various reasons should be properly reopened as soon as possible after the formalities have been completed.
CDO Ankit Khandelwal pointed out that food grain distribution should only be done through an e-POS machine and an Aadhar card. Instructs to take a certificate from the Kotdars that no eligible family in the village will be deprived of the food card. District Supply Commissioner Rajesh Kumar Soni said 483,174 rural and 180,538 urban families will benefit from the distribution of food grain in the district. The Aadhar card of 17667 ration card holders could not be sown. The ration is distributed with complete transparency through the distribution scheme of PM Garib Kalyan Anna. Based on the authorization from January to June, a total of 6,836 needy cards were created, including 217 new Antyodaya cards and 6,619 newly authorized household cards.
