Manjhanpur The nominations for the three-stage Panchayat elections began on Saturday in the district. A total of 495 candidates submitted nomination papers for the district panchayat member on Saturday. District Judges Amit Kumar Singh and SP Abhinandan investigated security at various enrollment points in the district during their tour.
On the first day of nomination, 495 female and male candidates filed nominations for the Panchayat District member under tight security at the Panchayat District Office in Manjhanpur. District Electoral Officer Amit Kumar Singh visited throughout the day to take stock of various precautions, including barricades and barriers, that have already been put in place at various enrollment locations.
As per Election Commission guidelines, the administration strictly adhered to Kovid guidelines, including masks and social distancing. In order to avoid problems with the vehicles arriving at the nomination, the police parked the vehicles at the marked places. The district judge said the nomination began on Saturday. Nomination papers were submitted for Pradhan, Gram Panchayat member, Kshetra Panchayat member in all eight development blocks.
