In 2017-18, the Prime Minister’s Housing Plus List was created by conducting a survey of families who were deprived of the Pucca Roof. This contained 6198 names. After testing the software, only 3,685 people were eligible. Of these, houses on 777 people were sanctioned in the first phase.
Now in the second phase, the goal is to provide accommodation for 426 people for the Kamalganj block. On Wednesday, Block Development Officer Rajesh Baghel instructed the Panchayat secretaries that the eligible beneficiary should be selected after review based on the order of priority according to the target.
