Saharapur. The heads and members of the district’s 231-gram panchayats were sworn oath of office and secrecy on Friday. In all of these grief panchayats, the oath was taken through virtual media taken by the officers present in the block. Panchayat Raj District official Upendra Raj Singh said 35 village chiefs will be sworn in on Saturday. All of the district’s 884 gram panchayats are organized and development work will begin overall after the oath is taken. The oath was taken through virtual media to 23 village heads and members of Gram Panchayat from the Sarsawa block area. The responsible BDO Rajveer Singh said that in the three-stage Panchayat electoral process, the posts of 249 grams Panchayat members in the development block area were vacant. For this reason, the oath of 23 newly elected village chiefs was revoked for fulfilling the quorum. After the by-election, the oath was sworn to all 23 village chiefs.
On the other hand, ADO Panchayat Rashid Ahmed took a practical oath of office and secrecy to the leaders and Gram Panchayat members of the Nanauta block. The newly elected village chief of Nanauta Dehat Gram Panchayat, Neeraj Singh’s wife Anurag Singh, was sworn to the oath of office and secrecy. DCDF chairman Krishnakumar Pundir, former chairman Afzal Khan, division president Manoj Rana Thaska, Amjad Khan, Randhir Singh and Sintu Chaudhary were present. Apart from that, Bhanera Khemchand, Bahera, Jhabiran, Kamalpur Bakroli, Tikraul, Indravali Kalyanpur, Bharidindarpur, Mushkipur, Anantmau, Sijud, Nalhera, Kanjauli, Maheshpur, Bhatpura, Shimlana, Dalheri, Khudana, Zaidhpern was elected by the villages like Bhainsrau etc.
The oath was taken by Shakambhari’s Gram Panchayat Fatehpur Tanda and the members of the Gram Panchayat to the newly elected village chief Paras Rana.
Village chief Babita and the members Pritam, Vikas, Setpal Lokpal, Naresh, Anuj, Rakesh Devi, Rajesh, Palli, Neelam, Varsha were sworn in by the village secretary Neetu Kumar in the village of Bandaheri in Gangoh. In Gram Panchayat Takipur in the Biharigarh region, 13 village members, including the newly elected village chief Anita Rani, were sworn in the presence of Secretary Anuj Tomar. In the village of Hussainpur Nivada, the newly elected village chief Rao Farman and 11 members took the oath. Bijendra Sharma Deepak, Pradeep Chaudhary, Dharamveer, Rizwan, etc.
