22754 Feewer Patients Found In Eight Month


Lalitpur. The health department is on alert regarding mosquito-borne diseases. In eight months, 22754 fever patients were tested for malaria by the Malaria Department. Four patients have been found to be malaria positive in the investigation, who have been cured by providing medicines. People were made aware about the prevention of mosquito borne diseases.
Campaigns are run by the Health Department for the prevention of mosquito-borne and infectious diseases. Communicable disease control campaign is run on the direction of the government, in this, cleanliness is also done along with creating awareness to prevent diseases. During the rainy season, water is drained to the water logging around the houses.
With the onset of malaria season, the health department has become serious. Investigations have been started after symptoms of malaria are found in the patients of fever coming to CHC and PHC. Here in eight months, the team of Health Department conducted malaria examination of 22754 patients of fever from the month of January to August. Of these, only four patients have been found so far. Among the positive patients, four patients have been found to be of common malaria (Plasmodium vivax). They have been cured by giving medicine.

There are two types of malarial fever. One of these is malaria, Plasmodia vivax, which is common. In this, the patient gets well soon after taking the medicine on time. The other is Plasmodium falciparum. In this, if not treated on time in vivax, it turns into a serious disease. In this, if the treatment is not taken on time, the plate falls. There is also danger to the life of the patient.
