The Communicable Disease Campaign and the Dastak Campaign began in the district on July 1. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Nem Singh started this campaign by taking an oath to the health workers at the CMO office. The CMO said the Communicable Disease Control Campaign and Dastak will run from July 1 to July 31. 1541 teams were formed for this purpose.
As part of this campaign, the Department of Health team will visit the district and raise awareness of the prevention of communicable diseases and other vector-borne diseases. Aside from that, people are also motivated to wear face masks, wash hands frequently with disinfectant, avoid unnecessary crowds, and get vaccinated to prevent a corona epidemic. The district’s malaria officer Dharmendra Narayan Srivastava said the campaign to fight communicable diseases will run throughout the month in the district. During this campaign, the health team draws people’s attention to pay particular attention to cleanliness, to not collect water near the houses, to destroy mosquito breeding grounds. The Dastak campaign runs from July 12th to July 25th. In this campaign, the health team will knock on houses according to the Kovid-19 protocol and receive information whether a family member has a fever or someone has been coughing for two weeks. Malnourished children are also identified.
