11 Hospitals Rewarded For Rejuvenation

Under the National Health Mission, 11 hospitals of the district will be rewarded under the rejuvenation campaign run by the government. These include two district hospitals, five CHCs and four PHCs. There is happiness among the officers and employees of the Health Department on getting the information about getting the award. Under the Kayakalp Abhiyan, maximum 11 health units of Jaunpur have received the award. CHCs Dobhi, Muftiganj, Machlishahr, Barsathi and Badlapur were selected in the session 2020-21 in the Kayakalp Award Scheme. In view of this, the teams of the hospitals were making continuous efforts to fulfill the prescribed criteria. As a result, District Men’s Hospital got 24th position and District Women’s Hospital got 76th position. Out of the six selected PHCs of the district, four Teji Bazar, Mungarabadshahpur, Bajrang Nagar and Singramau have also been rewarded with the Kayakalp Award. CMO Dr. Laxmi Singh said that efforts would be made to improve the health centers further. On the other hand, District Adviser of Quality Assurance Dr. Kshitij Pathak said that the health unit has to go through three phases to be rewarded under the Kayakalp scheme. . In the first phase, the staff and the district quality team evaluate the hospitals. In this, on getting 70 percent or more marks, the quality team of the other district nominated by the state does its cross verification. In this, the final assessment is done after getting 70 percent or more marks. In which a state-wise ranking is prepared after getting 70 percent or more marks.
