Jhansi Under the Right to Education Act, the government changed the ongoing application process for admitting poor children to private schools. In the current application process for the second phase, parents can now apply until June 10th. This allows more children to apply.
Poor children cannot enter here due to expensive fees and other facilities in private schools in the metropolis. The government has made provision under the Right to Education Act (RTE) to provide education to poor children in private schools. Among which private schools have to keep 25 percent seats for poor children. In the first phase of the application process, 832 children were selected by lottery in the district and allocation letters were distributed. The second phase of the application process began on April 6th. In which application could be submitted until April 23rd. The department had to process and admit the children by May 5th. The government has extended the application deadline to June 10th as cybercafés and other CSCs and public service centers have been closed due to a corona infection. School Education Director General Vijay Kiran Anand has sent instructions to the BSA. The BSA will review the applications and block them until June 13th. The lottery will take place on June 15th. The maximum number of children will be accepted after the application date has been extended. BSA Harivansh Kumar said the final application deadline for RTE has been extended to June 10th. Parents can apply for it.
